Deshirë (deh-SHEE-re) is a tribute to the first artisan we met in 2012, who has dedicated over 40 years to the craft of weaving on her handmade loom in Northern Albania. Her name, meaning "wish," reflects the hope, artistry, and dreams woven into every piece she’s created. Crafted from 100% wool, this hand loomed rug draws inspiration from the soft, moody beauty of Tirana’s rainy spring skies, with a serene blend of warm beige and cool grey that evokes calm, sophistication and natural elegance.

Handmade Wool Rugs 

Professional Cleaning: Have your rug professionally cleaned to maintain the quality of the fibers. Avoid harsh chemicals or steam treatments. 
Regular Maintenance: Gently shake out dust or use a rug beater. If vacuuming, use suction-only settings and avoid rotating brushes. 
Spill Care: Blot spills immediately with a clean cloth. Do not rub. If necessary, use cold water sparingly. 
Rotation: Rotate every 6–12 months for even wear and natural fading. 
Storage: Wrap in breathable Tyvek or cotton fabric (never plastic) and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Delivery times may vary based on destination and courier, and we kindly ask for your understanding should delays arise during peak seasons, customs processing, or national holidays. Please note that customers are responsible for any applicable customs duties, taxes, or import fees upon arrival in their country.  

Our return and refund policy
We accept returns for defective products or if the wrong item is delivered only. If your order arrives in an unsatisfactory condition, reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order at hello@liriainteriors.com.

Be sure to include photos of the item and the original packaging, labels, and tags still attached. The item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. Please note that we cannot accept returns for used items.
